6/29/2012 - GREEN THUMBIN’: PART DEUX
Corps Members Kevin Pedersen, Grant Jornacion, Lauren Tyree, Charlyne Yi, Samantha Morris, Marlene Maginot, Jacob Reed, and Aubrey Bellamy were in full force at the Project Angel Food garden Friday morning. This trip was the second in what is now a permanent, weekly event for all Corps members to take part in. Our main focus this week was weed yankin’, and SPOILER ALERT for Friday, 7/6/2012: I hope you like fertilizer.
Garden maintenance happens every Friday, 10am - 11:15am. PAF provides water, knee pads, gloves and tools. Come on down, get dirty and watch the garden transform.
The Project Angel Food mission is to nourish the body and spirit of men, women and children affected by HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
